How to show that you meet the “leading or critical” role criterion for EB-1A
Here’s a post by immigration lawyer Amber Davis on how to show that you meet the “leading or critical” role criterion for EB-1A:
Showing the “leading or critical role” criterion for EB-1A is about so much more than job title.
Especially if you don’t have a title that squarely puts you in the top 1% of professionals.
So how do you show leading and critical role?
Letters of reference from leading professionals at your company (can also be leading professionals outside your company who recognize the significance of your contributions at your company).
Combined with some kind of work product or other “objective documentation” that backs up the statements made in those letters.
USCIS will be examining those letters closely, and less so what you or your attorney say about yourself, so make sure you carefully choose who to have write those letters.
