On the EB-1A original contributions criterion
Here’s a post by immigration lawyer Amber Davis on the original contributions criterion:
Just because your work impacts your field outside of your employer does not mean you meet the original contributions criterion.
USCIS wants to see influence.
Impact as well.
They want to see major recognition and ideally media coverage or citations of the work you did and how it has influenced your field (for example, are several major U.S. companies now using a framework or standards that you helped introduce in your field).
