Your Company’s Lawyer is not your Lawyer
Post (source):
Your company’s lawyer is not your lawyer.
Nor does your company represent your best interests, at least when it comes to your immigration future.
So stop relying on your company to handhold you through the process,
And stop allowing your company to tell you what you can do and what you can’t.
Do your own research and look especially at self-petition options like NIW and for some of you who want to start your own company on top of your full time job, O-1.
You need to be in control of your immigration future.
Because your company will not build it for you.
