EB-2 NIW and focusing on areas of national interest

Post (source):

I did a borderline case.

The client was going for NIW and was in the field of alternative fuels.

There were weaknesses in his case - he was more junior and he did not really have any conference participation or research recognition.

That being said, he works at a company that’s focused on a niche that fully aligns with this administration’s priorities, a fact we emphasized in the NIW petition.

His case was approved.
