Responding to Weird RFEs (Requests for Evidence)
Post (source):
Got a weird RFE the other day.
It was even printed on two different kinds of paper - as if the officer had printed the RFE at home before mailing it to us.
They told us that we didn’t show enough proof that my client’s work was of national importance and could potentially impact a field of national interest,
That our claims simply showed the importance of my client’s work at the company level.
Of course, that was untrue. There was ample evidence in our submission to show that my client qualified for NIW and that her work extended beyond her company (her involvement in conferences, her contributions to her profession as a whole, etc.).
So we responded and simply told them,
To read the whole file.
