Final merits matters for EB-1A
You can claim three EB-1A criteria.
And still receive a denial.
Why?
Final merits.
When USCIS looks at your case, they will look to see if you have risen to the top of your field, and that requires far more than just showing a few judging and authorship activities.
You’ll need an anchor criterion like leading or critical role or original contributions and be judged alongside other top professionals in your field (not within your seniority level or role, but in your entire field).
It’s why junior professionals tend to need at least 2-3, perhaps even 4-5 years of profile-building.
Anyone can get 3 criteria (literally anyone). It’s the quality of those opportunities that matters in the end.
