On the EB-1A authorship criterion
For major trade publications under the EB-1A authorship criterion,
Readership matters.
As in who reads the trade publications in which you have published articles.
If you can show, for example, that thousands of executives read the publications in which you have published articles, you could argue that your articles have influenced and have been recognized by other top professionals in your field.
So if possible, provide context on who is reading your trade publication articles.
