What it means to be a top professional in your field for EB-1A
Here’s a post by immigration lawyer Amber Davis on what it means to be a top professional in your field for EB-1A:
For EB-1A, extraordinary ability does not mean showing that you’re at the top within the group of professionals who also have your job title.
For example, being a top junior software engineer does not mean you have risen to the top of your field.
You need to be one of the top professionals in your field, which means you will be compared not just to people with your job title, but everyone in your field.
